Maurizio's career spans 27 years as both a scientist and a high technology entrepreneur. As a physicist, he was a pioneer of remote sensing and computer graphics, was a researcher at CERN working on the early development of the world wide web; he was also member of the research team that won the 1979 Nobel in Physics, (Gashow, Weinberg & Salam).
As an entrepreneur he founded 5 companies for which he has created over $1 Billion in shareholder value. Most notably he co-founded computer graphics and rendering leader Modacad, which later became Styleclick, which IPO'ed in 1996 and was eventually sold to Barry Diller's InterActive Corp, (then USA Networks), for $500 Million. He currently serves as Chairman of Synthetica GrowthPoint Financial, Synthetica's affiliate fund for debt financing; Chairman of the IDEAS Studio, an educational software and media company he co-founded. In his capacity as Managing Partner of Synthetica he has managed the British Telecom, Philips, NASA-JPL, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Lab and other key relationships with science centers on behalf of the partnership.

Mr. Goldstein is a founding partner at Synthetica. He was CEO of Universal Management, whose activities and clients have been merged with Synthetica. Clients included Dennis Conner Sports, EuroDisney, LinkExperts and Home Shopping Network (HSN).
Mr. Goldstein has proven executive vision and ability in strategic partnership development, contract negotiation and closing, revenue stream generation, market trend identification, joint ventures/M&A, integrated marketing, brand positioning, and financial and strategic planning.
He also held positions as Executive Vice President, USA Networks (Styleclick, Internet Shopping Network), CEO, Worldwide Thai LTD, Senior Vice President, Cardean Learning Group (formerly UNEXT), Senior Vice President, Bandai America.

Barry Hall has nearly 30 years of business experience that combines a strong accounting and financial background with a deep knowledge and practice of general management. He has served as CEO, COO or CFO for a variety of publicly and privately held Internet, high technology, and telecommunications companies.
He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Styleclick, a USA Networks company and was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EarthLink Network, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of California Amplifier (CalAmp), Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of LA Cellular, and Chief Financial Officer of Applied Solar Energy Corporation.

David Altshuler has 34+ years as a practicing lawyer with considerable experience in providing a broad range of advisory services to start ups in various industries, e.g., high tech (including enterprise software development, new media/wireless telecommunications, and tele-medicine) and other industries, as well as acquisitions and venture capital transactions ranging from $5.0 million to $150 million per transaction. He has broad experience in providing legal advice and strategic planning advice for a broad range of business enterprises (e.g., small, mid and large cap companies up to $2 billion in annual revenues) in a variety of business sectors, e.g., technology, intellectual property licensing, manufacturing, supply chain logistics, real estate, financial services, creative services, and consumer goods.
David has taught a variety courses at UCLA’s School of Management, Labor and Business and Paralegal Training, American University - Bryn Mawr Chartered Life Underwriter program, USC School of Law (Paralegal training program) and the California Community College System. David holds a B.A. (in Social Science) from U.C. Irvine, a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University School of Law.
